To allow the new bonds to fully stabilize, you must wait 48 to 72 hours before getting your hair wet or washing it. During this time, you should also avoid using hair ties, clips, or tucking your hair behind your ears to prevent any permanent “kinks” from forming.
While your hair will dry straight naturally, most clients find that a quick 5-minute “rough dry” with a blow dryer adds incredible shine and a professional finish that would normally take 45 minutes to achieve with a brush and flatiron.
